Private Sessions

The main goal of private sessions is to help the student learn basic principles of yogasana and pranayama, and develop better body awareness.

I work one-on-one or with couples over a course of five to ten sessions during which we study a variety of asanas (poses) as well as pranayama (breath exercises) and work together in designing a practice set tailored to their needs and goals. We proceed at a pace set by the student to ensure that each lesson is understood thoroughly. 

Group Sessions and Workshops

I adapt my knowledge of yoga to the needs of a specific group, ranging from a gentle style based on Healing Yoga that focuses on creating a sense of wellness in the body, doing pranayama and meditation to a more challenging set of asanas that strengthen the body and help my students explore their boundaries in a safe manner. The poses I teach mostly come from "The Complete Book of Vinyasa Yoga" by Srivatsa Ramaswami and from my studies with Chase Bossart at the Healing Yoga Foundation. I prefer smaller groups of up to ten people so that I can attend to each student in the class.
