I love yoga and I want to share with others what it can offer and how it can enhance anyone's life. Yoga helps me relax and let go, get toned and stay flexible, develop better awareness of the body, clear up my head, feel connected, centered and aligned and transition into meditation. I believe that anyone can do yoga once it has been tailored to one's needs and goals, and I take it upon myself to help you find your own unique path to yoga. I offer both private and group sessions.

Private Sessions
I work one on one or with couples over a course of 5-10 sessions during which we study a variety of asanas (poses) as well as pranayama (breath exercises) and work together in designing a practice set tailored to their needs and goals. We proceed at a pace set by a student to ensure that each lesson is understood thoroughly.

Group Sessions
I adapt my knowledge of yoga to the needs of a specific group, ranging from a gentle style that focuses on creating a sense of wellness in the body, doing pranayama and meditation to a more challenging set of asanas that strengthen the body and help my students explore their boundaries in a safe manner.

I have completed the 200hr Vinyasa Krama Yoga Teacher Training program, led by Srivatsa Ramaswami and registered with Yoga Alliance. I have studied additional 60hrs of asana and pranayama with Ramaswami. My teacher was a private student of 33 years of the legendary Sri T. Krishnamacharya.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University.
